1. Who we are
"Citrus Painting Co.," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the Citrus Painting Co. lead-referral service, operated by Modern Ocean in Florida. Citrus connects homeowners and businesses with independent local painting contractors; Citrus does not itself perform painting work and is not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.

When you submit the estimate/contact form, we collect the information you enter: your first and last name, email address, phone number (if provided), city and state, the service you're interested in, and any details you include in the message field.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers automatically log basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to operate and protect the site. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers or non-essential cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

- To respond to your request and provide a free estimate.
- To connect you with an independent local painting contractor who serves your area so they can contact you about your project.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and prevent spam and abuse.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
4. How we share your information
With a partner contractor. The core purpose of Citrus is referral: we share your inquiry with the independent painting contractor who serves your area so they can prepare your estimate and contact you. That contractor is a separate business responsible for its own privacy practices and for the work it performs.
With service providers who help us run the site, under their terms of service, including: our hosting provider (DigitalOcean), our network/security provider (Cloudflare), our email delivery provider (Brevo), and Google (Google Sheets) to give the crew a readable lead list. These providers process data on our behalf.
For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and property.
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties or data brokers, and we never resell the same inquiry to multiple competing painters. Sharing your inquiry with the partner contractor who will serve you is part of the service you request.
5. Communications & your consent
By submitting the form, you agree that Citrus Painting Co. and its partner contractor may contact you about your project by phone, text message, or email using the contact details you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts or calls is not a condition of any purchase. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to texts, unsubscribing from emails, or emailing [email protected].
6. How long we keep it
We retain lead information for as long as needed to serve your request and for a reasonable period afterward for records, then delete or anonymize it. You may ask us to delete your information sooner (see Section 8).
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, spam/abuse filtering, and regular backups. No website or method of transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to notify affected individuals as required by law if a breach occurs.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law; we honor applicable requests. Because we do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of in that regard. Our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals at this time.
9. Children's privacy
Our site is intended for adults seeking painting services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
